Sleep concerns can reflect insomnia, sleep-disordered breathing, circadian issues, medication effects, mental health, restless legs or other medical conditions.

Services may include

  • Sleep-history intake and standardized screening.
  • Insomnia education and behavioural sleep strategies.
  • Home sleep testing through an appropriate diagnostic pathway where clinically suitable.
  • Review of results and treatment next steps.
  • Mask fit and troubleshooting support where offered.
Before your appointment, track sleep and wake times, naps, caffeine, alcohol and sedating medications. Home sleep testing is available for diagnosis. It is not the same as Level 1 polysomnography: ADP-funded CPAP requires a sleep-lab study and a sleep physician’s assessment, and we arrange that referral when it is indicated.

Common questions

Do you do sleep studies?
We arrange home or lab sleep testing through outside providers and review the results with you. Testing fees from those providers are separate.
Can a Nurse Practitioner help with insomnia?
Yes. The assessment looks at causes, sleep habits, other health conditions and medications, and sets out treatment options.
How much is a sleep assessment?
The sleep assessment and initial plan is $175. A results review is $65.
