Hydration and vitamin infusion
Thiamine, folate, multivitamin and magnesium in normal saline. Some people know this as a “banana bag,” a name that comes from the yellow colour the vitamins give the bag.

- Nurse Practitioner assessment at your first visit to confirm the infusion is appropriate for you.
- Allow up to 2 hours, including set-up and observation after the infusion.

- Not a treatment for alcohol withdrawal or emergencies. If you are unwell, confused or unable to keep fluids down, go to the nearest emergency department or call 911.
Each service requires a valid order or prescription where applicable, appropriate emergency preparedness and a defined escalation pathway.
